Well I must apologize for neglecting my blog. Life has gotten extremely busy for us here at the Watson house. I guess I should probably take you back to August and start from there.

In the middle of August Grandpa Tim took our little family camping up at
Twin Lakes in Mammoth with Uncle Logan & Uncle Robert. We had so much fun… We went hiking, fishing, we took a ride on the Gondola, the big boys went mountain biking etc. This was James’s first time camping… He had fun, but just couldn't understand why he was sleeping outside in a tent.

Shortly after going to Mammoth my sister Diane called and invited James and I to the Antelope Valley Fair… We had a great time, James loved all the animals and getting to touch them in the petting farm. He also really liked the children’s play area, there was a sand box full of toys, but the difference between this sand box and any other sand box is that it wasn’t filled with sand; This box was filled with corn bits. James thought it was the coolest thing ever. We played in the corn box for at least 45 minutes.

On September 5th James turned the big #1… That’s right; my baby is growing up and is now a year old. We celebrated at Grandma Lang’s house on the 6th. It was so much fun, we went swimming which is one of James’s favorite things to do, we ate a wonderful lunch, James opened his many presents, and loved all of them… and last but not least he was introduced to his very own birthday cake. It was hilarious… He started off slowly by plucking each little balloon off of the top of the cake and eventually dug in full force. He loved the cake and was really mad when we took it away. I have a video of him eating his cake but for some reason I can’t get it to down load.

The next huge thing that has happened in our lives, and perhaps the reason I haven’t gotten around to catching up on my blog is that my older sister (Chavonne) and her 5 year old son (Ryan) moved in with us about a week ago. We had about two weeks to get ready for there arrival so we had to move everything out of James’s bedroom and some how fit it all into our bedroom. James now has a new bedroom, that most people would call a walk in closet. That’s correct, our son is sleeping in the closet. Don’t worry, and please don’t call child protective services we took everything out of the closet, assembled his crib in there and even decorated it, so besides the fact that is small it’s actually pretty cute.

Last but certainly not least Ryan and I have a few announcements that we would like to make public at this time…

Number 1: Ryan and I have been working very hard as members of the LDS church; we have been taking temple prep classes, and have been preparing our selves to live a higher standard of life. On October 24th we are going to be receiving our endowments at the Los Angeles Temple, and the following day (October 25th) will be sealed for time and all eternity as husband and wife along with our precious baby. We are very excited about this big step and thank all of our family and friend who have helped us get to this point in out lives.
Number 2: We are expecting the second addition to the family. We are about 10 weeks along and are expecting the arrival of baby #2 in mid April. (SURPRISE!!!)
